Special Agent Anderson walked down the corridor and knocked on the Director's door, ‘Excuse me, Director, we have just received an intercept message from the NSA containing some disturbing information!’ Anderson said as he entered. ‘Let me see!’ Hamilton replies Anderson hands over a manila file with a single sheet of paper. Hamilton opened the file and read the short message, R&D Compromised, APB has been issued. Clean House is recommended. Looking up at Anderson, ‘Where did this come from?’ ‘The NSA did not say!’ Anderson replied, ‘I have asked them if they can identify where it originated from, and all they have identified is that it is an unregistered number!’ ‘Unregistered, that will not be easy to trace!’ ‘All we can hope for is to narrow it down to a block or two by triangulating from nearby cell towers!’ ‘Hope?’ Hamilton scoffed, ‘I guess with an unregistered phone that is all we have! I take it that we have the number flagged for both incoming and outgoing messages and calls?’ ‘Yes Sir!’ Anderson replied, ‘I made the request as soon as I read the message, I asked NSA to flag it!’ ‘Do you think it is linked to your investigation?’ ‘Too early to tell at this stage, but it is of concern that information appears to be leaking from inside the FBI?’ ‘That is what worries me the most, I would like you to liaise with Flynn on this from now on!’ ‘Flynn, Sir?’ ‘Yes, He is the new Deputy Director!’ ‘Understood, Sir!’ Anderson gathers up the file from the desk and is about to exit the office, ‘I forgot to say!’ Hamilton said, ‘Flynn is based out of Hawaii!’ ‘Cool, I can catch up on my surfing!’ Anderson replies with a grin. ‘Oh, great another surf bum!’ Hamilton replies with a laugh. Gino walked out of his hotel room and down the corridor to Fred’s room, he gently knocked on the door and waited for it to be opened. Fred opened the door a couple of seconds later and let Gino in. Fred looked up and down the corridor before closing it, ‘Coffee?’ he asked. ‘Please!’ Gino replied. Fred walked over to the kettle and made two cups of coffee, placing it down on the table, he sat down opposite Gino, ‘I do not agree with soft targets!’ he said. ‘Me neither!’ Gino replied, ‘we could always place them in more a prominent place for maximum effect!’ ‘The boss will not like that, but I agree!’ Fred said, ‘I do not know what he is thinking of! I mean the last tube train at night. It will be in the depot when the excitement begins!’ ‘It may take out a few other trains, but not much of an impact!’ ‘It may be better if the package is left at one of the stations!’ ‘The problem there is the coverage!’ ‘It is a shame that we do not have the time to do the research required!’ ‘If we split up, we could cover a few of the ideal spots today!’ ‘That is true, we do have the dummy run to do at some point!’ ‘Suggest we do it now!’ ‘Agreed!’ Fred and Gino finished their coffees and stood up. Fred grabbed his leather jacket from the back of his chair and donned it. Fred placed the do not disturb sign on the outside door handle of his room and followed Gino down the corridor. Fred paused outside Gino’s room as he nipped inside and came out wearing his jacket with the package under his arm, he quickly placed the do not disturb sign on his door and they headed downstairs.
